Memmert appliances are covered by the German statutory regulations concerning the 12-month warranty, by a 3-year guarantee (exception: 2-year guarantee for vacuum pumps and cooling units) for damage attributable to material and/or production flaws.

After a new appliance has been delivered from the factory, Memmert GmbH + Co. KG will, after the expiry of the 12 months warranty period, repair or replace all parts in which damage has occurred due to material or production flaws for a further 24 months (a further 12 months for vacuum pumps and cooling units). This guarantee can be extended for a further 12 months on nearly all appliances for a small surcharge.

Calibration certificates, transport damage, glass, and wearing parts (e. g. membranes, valves, sealing rings, etc.) are excluded from this, as well as damage resulting from an accident, negligence, incorrect operation, and neglected maintenance work (see operating instructions). Maintenance costs and any other costs for on-site repair or on-site dismantling or assembling ate not covered by the guarantee.
