HETTICH INTRODUCES HETTINFO II DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM FOR BLOOD BANKS

November 01, 2019 – Beverly, MA – Andreas Hettich GmbH & Co. KG announces the release of HettInfo 2.0, its improved documentation system for blood banks. The enhanced software and hardware package provide both existing and new users with a simple and intuitive method for workflow traceability. 

Since its inception in 2002, HettInfo software fulfilled the demand for traceability and transparency by documenting the centrifuge process and delivering the data to the LIMS. Advancements in technology have led to new feature enhancements currently showcased in the improved version of HettInfo. 

The new version combines a modern user interface via a touchscreen control panel with simple barcode technology for uncomplicated data capture. For higher quality control, the HettInfo touchscreen interface provides step-by-step instruction via a functional checklist walking the user through the scanning process. The password-protected control panel secures pre-programmed application parameters, user ID, and data transfer settings. Data is then stored locally until exported to USB or LAN connection. Schedule data export automatically or configure to export after each centrifugation run. All data points are captured in a CSV file for easy integration with the existing LIMS software.
